In the morning, we met as a team and combined all of the work which we had respectively done, and created four prototype builds of the application in order to show off each aspect of the concept. We created four prototype builds, as when we tested our networked prototype, it had a tendency to be blocked by particular firewalls, and wanted to be prepared to still be able to show off all unique selling points of Social Sandbox VR even if the applications internet connectivity should be blocked by the university network. We also ensured that the network prototype was a development build, with a console log, so that any functionality could still be proven through the logs. This paid off, as the university firewall did end up blocking the multiplayer and networked features, but since we had prepared for this scenario by making four prototypes, it did not have as negative an impact on our ability to present our concept as it could have had. I feel as if our presentation went well, and as a team were able to show off the unique successes that we achieved with this project throughout it’s development and were able to pull it off to a professional degree despite the issues that we encountered throughout the development cycle.
