Today I thought of how to try and make the time-lapse videos more visually impressive and diverse (given that all of my videos to this point have been captured during the daytime) and thought about the lighting from my previous recording session in Green Park, and decided that I would try the camera out at night. I wanted to see how effectively the camera could capture moving traffic, so therefore I started to scout out locations to try and find a location that I felt was interesting, but also safe enough for me to leave the camera setup for a long enough time period to capture enough images to create a longer video. Being that the weather is very cold at the moment, I’m not sure if that will have any impact on the battery life or the device itself as I am operating under the assumption that the water-proofing will also protect against cold weather. For this attempt, I am not going to be using the night module on the camera, so that I have a basis for comparison later. I chose to setup the camera at the top of a multi-story car park, facing a busy road and left it there for a few hours to record footage.
