I used today to finalise the building of the camera case. In the end, I repurposed two old jewellery boxes into a case that fits all of the components for the time-lapse camera and is a relatively water-resistant case, as I have reinforced some of the weaker areas with hot glue and plastic foam. Now that the case is in a usable condition, it will allow me to now start installing the Linux Operating System and setting up the software required to actually run the camera capturing. I have come across a problem with the portability, as currently the device still relies on a power mains cable and I will need to research a way of integrating a powerful-enough battery in order to make it fully portable as I desire.
